Michele James Roberts has been working with numbers for over 25 years. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and started her professional career in audit at Ernst & Young in 1993. In 1996, she earned her CPA and maintains an active CPA license in the state of California. Having started out as a bank teller, she progressed throughout her career to the position of Director of Finance within a global provider of software and financial data. But because of her desire to have a greater impact on the success of small businesses, she founded Total Accounting and Bookkeeping, Inc. in March 2012 to serve you – the solopreneurs, and small businesses who want to focus on the mission of running their businesses without being mired in the detail of managing the finances.
Michele enjoys keeping organized track of your financial details and providing information that will help you to make decisions to run your business more effectively and efficiently.
Michele is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and can work with you to setup, troubleshoot or maintain your finances in Quickbooks. We can also evaluate and recommend other accounting solutions to serve your business and help you to keep your finances straight. We can do the accounting for you, or we can set up your QuickBooks system so that you or your in-house bookkeeper can manage the details. At Total Accounting and Bookkeeping, we seek to go beyond data entry and preparation of financial statements. We look to provide information that will allow our clients to make sound business decisions that result in business growth.

With over nine years of experience in both public and private accounting, Kurt Davey is an active CPA who’s committed to helping your business thrive financially. He’s worked with a range of industries—including hospitality, retail, professional services, construction, and real estate—so chances are, he’s already familiar with the challenges you're facing. Kurt knows how to streamline your accounting processes and take the pain out of managing your finances.
He gets it—most business owners would rather focus on growing their business than deal with accounting, payroll, or taxes. That’s exactly why Kurt became a CPA: so you don’t have to be the one who worries about it. Accounting is his passion, so it doesn’t have to be yours.
